Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for overnight patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless patient care transitions
- Document clinical observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Advocate for patient safety and comfort during high-acuity overnight hours
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BSN degree strongly preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
