Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and medical histories accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and assist with code situations when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
