Responsibilities
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Assess patient needs, administer medications, and implement care plans under the supervision of physicians.
- Monitor Patient Conditions: Continuously monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient status to the medical team immediately.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and therapists to ensure coordinated and effective patient treatment.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in compliance with hospital policies.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and assist in critical care situations as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Active RN License: Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Georgia.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Strong empathy and ability to work well under pressure.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
