Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders and safety protocols.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and expertise.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
