Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Health: Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments to develop individualized care plans.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately, following hospital protocols.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor vital signs and patient conditions, responding immediately to any changes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic care to patients of diverse backgrounds.
