Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (New grads welcome with specialized training).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
