Job Overview:
As a Weekend Shift RN, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population. You will be the bridge between the medical team and our patients, ensuring comfort and recovery in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement and evaluate care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and respond immediately to any changes in condition.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge.
- Maintain strict compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS preferred for Telemetry/ICU roles).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends as required.
