Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in fast-paced acute care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and progress in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for optimal outcomes
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and NY State nursing protocols
- Provide mentorship to new nursing staff during orientation
- Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NYS RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- NYSED mandated training completion
