Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients in Fort Wayne homes
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Prepare nutritious meals and maintain clean, safe living environments
- Transport clients to appointments and errands using personal vehicle
- Document care progress and client needs via our secure remote portal
- Coordinate with family members and healthcare providers through virtual channels
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Proficiency with digital tools for remote documentation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong empathy and communication skills
