Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephonic/remote patient assessments using clinical judgment protocols
- Provide accurate triage recommendations per established clinical guidelines
- Coordinate care with providers, specialists, and community resources
- Document patient encounters in electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Manage patient flow and prioritize urgent cases effectively
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license preferred)
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience with ER, urgent care, or telehealth background
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently in remote setting
- Experience with telehealth platforms and remote monitoring tools
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
