Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephonic virtual assessments for patients across diverse demographics
- Determine appropriate medical urgency and prioritize patient care pathways
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
- Document patient interactions accurately in EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Provide education on home care instructions and preventive health measures
- Manage high-volume call queues efficiently during peak hours
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN) with 3+ years clinical experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Proven expertise in emergency triage protocols and clinical judgment
- Exceptional telehealth/virtual care platform proficiency
- Strong communication skills with cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EHR systems
- Spanish fluency highly desirable
