Responsibilities
- Perform precise blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Process and transport specimens to laboratory facilities
- Verify patient identities and maintain accurate medical records
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
- Operate laboratory equipment and troubleshoot technical issues

Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Valid Louisiana state phlebotomy license
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
