Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive triage assessments for incoming patient calls and walk-ins to ensure timely and appropriate care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Document patient interactions and medical histories accurately and in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide patient education and health coaching to promote self-management and wellness.
- Manage high-volume call queues efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior nursing staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a triage or urgent care setting.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
