Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on medical urgency
- Provide clear instructions to patients via phone and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for seamless care coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Manage high-volume patient inquiries with exceptional communication skills
- Implement triage protocols in compliance with emergency standards
- Support emergency department operations during peak times
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years emergency or triage nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
