Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures under the direction of surgeons and registered nurses
- Prepare operating rooms, sterile fields, and surgical instruments
- Monitor and maintain sterile environments during surgical procedures
- Collaborate remotely with surgical teams for case preparation and equipment coordination
- Document surgical procedures and inventory management through our digital systems
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain and troubleshoot surgical equipment
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent surgical tech experience
- Proficiency in sterile processing and aseptic techniques
- Experience with electronic health records and remote monitoring systems
- Strong communication skills for hybrid team collaboration
- Ability to work independently in remote settings while maintaining accountability
- Current BLS certification
- Flexibility to work on-site as needed for surgical procedures
