Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
- Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care activities, including vital signs and symptoms, accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist with triage as necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a medical-surgical or specialty unit.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina required to stand for long periods and lift patients.
