Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on specialized nursing protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per established standards
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and facility-specific regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain current BLS/ACLS certifications and state nursing license
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications (required) and specialty certifications (preferred)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical environments
- Ability to travel and relocate temporarily
- Passing background and health screenings
