Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings including ER, ICU, MedSurg, and telemetry units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge procedures, and health maintenance
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, JCAHO standards, and state nursing regulations
- Maintain sterile environments during procedures and infection control protocols
- Participate in rapid response teams and emergency interventions as needed
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license or compact license with willingness to obtain AZ license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in assigned specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in EMR systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local assignments
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
