Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings (ER, ICU, MedSurg)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Implement patient education plans
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and facility protocols
- Manage emergency situations with rapid response
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- 1+ years recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Telemetry or ICU experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility for 12-hour shifts (days/nights)
- Pass background/drug screening
