Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize emergency cases and allocate resources efficiently
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with detailed clinical documentation
- Provide compassionate patient education for self-care and treatment instructions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans based on evolving conditions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida with minimum 3 years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, TNCC preferred
- Strong assessment skills with ability to make critical decisions under pressure
- Excellent verbal communication skills with clear medical terminology proficiency
- Experience with Epic EMR systems and telehealth triage platforms
- Ability to multitask in high-volume emergency department settings
