Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using SBAR framework to determine acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to prioritize patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Provide telehealth triage services for remote patients
- Implement crisis intervention protocols for emergent cases
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- 3+ years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in Epic EMR systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
