Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using advanced diagnostic equipment and prioritize care based on acuity
- Utilize telemedicine tools and digital health records for efficient remote triage
- Collaborate with emergency department physicians and specialists using real-time communication systems
- Provide clear instructions to patients via our integrated patient portal and telehealth platforms
- Maintain accurate documentation in our EHR system with mobile charting devices
- Train on new triage technologies including vital sign monitors and AI-assessment tools
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment
- Experience with trauma assessment protocols and mass casualty incident response
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling
