Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine medical acuity and appropriate triage level.
- Manage high-volume patient queues efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Document patient interactions and medical histories accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to develop optimal treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and health coaching regarding chronic disease management and preventative care.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, hospital protocols, and HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of acute care or triage experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong computer proficiency with experience in Epic or Cerner EHR systems preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
