Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to determine urgency of care
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize patient cases in emergency settings
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Provide initial interventions and education to patients and families
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Participate in continuous training and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Recent nursing graduate or career changer with passion for healthcare
- Active North Carolina RN license (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided upon hire)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in emergency situations
