Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephonic and in-person patient assessments to determine urgency of care needs
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop appropriate care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients on healthcare resources and self-management strategies
- Triage emergency calls according to established protocols and guidelines
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (or willingness to obtain through paid training program)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification (will be provided if not current)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced emergency settings
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Spanish bilingual preferred (not required)
