Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop high-quality dental radiographs with digital imaging systems
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide oxide monitoring
- Provide post-operative instructions and emergency care support
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain optimal clinic efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control protocols
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
