Responsibilities
- Patient Intake: Greet patients warmly, verify identity, and complete registration forms accurately.
- Clinical Assistance: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist providers with patient exams.
- Vital Signs: Measure and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Lab Procedures: Collect blood samples or other specimens for lab testing following strict safety protocols.
- Administrative Support: Update Electronic Health Records (EHR), schedule appointments, and manage phone calls.
- Medication Management: Assist with medication reconciliation and prepare medications under provider supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary. We are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with medical software (preferred).
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Professionalism: Adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
