Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to elderly residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ensure resident safety at all times
- Administer medications as directed and maintain accurate documentation
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote resident independence
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or geriatric settings
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly care
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
