Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and ensure diagnostic image quality meets standards
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures per OSHA guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient patient flow
- Administer chairside support including suctioning, material mixing, and patient comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting in Eaglesoft software
- Train new dental assistants on practice protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or graduate from accredited dental assisting program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification and radiology license
- Mastery of dental radiography techniques and equipment
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
