Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards
- Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and aftercare
- Coordinate scheduling and ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license required
- 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital X-ray systems and Eaglesoft software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual preferred
