Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure imaging quality
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory hygiene standards
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Provide chairside assistance during complex dental procedures
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Order dental supplies and inventory management
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or x-ray license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging (Dexis, Sirona, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
