Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report abnormalities to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, including engaging in conversation and recreational activities.
- Administer medication reminders and ensure medication compliance under supervision.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with mobility using walkers or wheelchairs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screening required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
