Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure patients feel safe and happy.
- Accurately document patient care logs and report incidents immediately.
- Administer prescribed medication as directed by a licensed nurse.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA or HHA certification preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
- Current, valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
