Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications for patients accurately and efficiently.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and physician orders for accuracy.
- Assist the Pharmacist in compounding and dispensing medications.
- Manage inventory, including checking stock levels and restocking shelves.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service at the dispensary counter.
- Process insurance claims and handle reimbursements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Certification (CPhT) preferred.
- Current state pharmacy technician license in Kentucky.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and computer systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
