Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments to determine medical urgency and prioritize care
- Accurately document patient symptoms, vitals, and medical history in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate emergency response protocols
- Provide clear, empathetic communication to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital triage guidelines at all times
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for emergency care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee with 2+ years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during high-pressure scenarios
- BSN preferred or equivalent experience
