As a Weekend CNA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Minnesota CNA License required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification must be current.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
