Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical unit (ICU/ER/Telemetry)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to facility-specific protocols and JCAHO standards
- Provide patient education and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for peds)
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility for 13-week assignments
