Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls based on medical urgency using established protocols
- Provide accurate triage advice over phone, video, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precise documentation
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently per ACLS protocols
- Conduct patient education on symptoms and self-care management
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NJ RN license with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required; TNCC preferred
- Strong assessment skills in emergency and primary care settings
- Excellent communication abilities across diverse populations
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Valid NJ driver's license for occasional travel between sites
