Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough phone assessments to determine patient acuity and urgency.
- Provide accurate medical advice and triage instructions to patients and families.
- Direct patients to the appropriate level of care, including physicians or emergency services.
- Document patient interactions and outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure high-quality care coordination.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in triage or telehealth.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
