Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, doctors, and families regarding patient status.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Indiana CNA License (CNA-1).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient dignity.
