Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and physicians regarding patient status and needs.
- Administer medication and document care plans according to facility protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Oklahoma.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying shift schedules.
