Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely from beds to chairs or wheelchairs.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required.
- Report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina CNA Certification (or eligibility to obtain).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist patients of varying sizes.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to care.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
