Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and instrument sterilization
- Handle patient records and scheduling via Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Assist in restorative procedures and chairside support
- Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program graduate or equivalent experience
- Ohio Dental Assistant certification (or eligible)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental settings
- Proficiency in radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and equipment
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
