Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient charts and digital records with precision
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with safety standards
- Perform chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry techniques
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinic efficiency
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant license (RDA or CDA preferred)
- X-ray certification (RDA) or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft ideal)
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual proficiency highly valued
