Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries with precision and efficiency.
- Perform and process dental radiographs (X-rays) following strict safety protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a pristine clinical environment.
- Take accurate impressions and pour models for crowns and bridges.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and assist with billing inquiries.
- Educate patients on available dental products and services.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- Current DANB certification or state licensure is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
