Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with instruments, materials, and equipment, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
- Assist the lead dentist during examinations, surgeries, and procedures with precision and confidence.
- Perform and process dental X-rays (Radiography) following strict safety protocols.
- Greet patients warmly, manage patient records, and update dental charts accurately.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education to patients.
- Maintain strict infection control standards and sterilization procedures.
Qualifications
- Certified or licensed Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of California.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry or specialty practice is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control (OSHA compliance).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse patients.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor tasks efficiently.
