Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems accurately
- Assist in infection control protocols and maintain sterile operatory environments
- Coordinate patient flow and support front desk operations when needed
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or graduation from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and imaging software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to ease patient anxiety
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
- Valid CPR certification
