Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure clients feel safe and happy.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, or errands.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor for any changes in health status.
- Document daily care activities and report any concerns to the nursing team immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is required.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in home health or personal care is preferred but not always required.
