Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition or behavior to the nursing supervisor.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation according to dietary restrictions.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or community outings.
- Administer prescribed medications and document care services accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
