Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, including accurate medical history taking and vital signs measurement.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures with efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform venipuncture and basic phlebotomy while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precise documentation.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments according to strict hygiene standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage referral processes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) is strongly preferred.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a primary care or specialty setting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
